Its so relaxing, wifi very fast !!! Nice breakfast and staff !
Its a long walk to the city if you want to go out for lunch or dinner.. I would say more than 15 min. They clean the room every 2 days didn't like it moreover we were 3 ppl in the room.
Room was very nice. Good value.well decorated. Lovely sitting on terrace in hammock. Quiet, relaxed and pretty
Too far from haad rin. Long journey in and not all taxi drivers new where it was located.
Great place to chill, simple, cozy, clean, well maintained and amazing value for money! 10 out of 10!
No tv and no fridge to keep water cool and no restaurant
New and clean bungalows with seaview terrace - very good value for money. Just 5-10 walking minutes to the next town.
Baan Manali Resort is absolutely fantastic!!! It's set in a perfect location with its own private beach. Perfect for relaxing and getting away from the rest of the world xx
Everything was perfect, however if i had any suggestions it would be to have fridges & tea making facilities in the room xx
we would have loved the location more had we not been caught in monsoon weather and flooding for the whole time we were there. Had it been good weather we would have really enjoyed the beach and the tranquil surrounding. Having said that we still did really enjoy our stay there and the owners of the resort, Sebastian and Liat, were excellent hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. The accommodation was lovely although very basic with very little amenities.
That there was no swimming pool, no tea/coffee making facilities, no fridge and no complementary water, which we have had at all our other resorts.
Very friendly and helpful staff, very good location and the bungalows are very nice
Great little location. Only 10 minute walk into town. Very peaceful place as well. family feel to the place. Food not amazing, but still nice. Comfortable bungalow, very clean.
Beach is ok, not great for swimming though.
Close to town. Good food at reasonable price. Beach was nice. Staff were pleasant and accomodating, bit did not go that extra bit in regards to real friendliness. However, every request was fulfilled
Not value for money, should have either fridge or tv/DVD player or both in room for price paid. Better places on island for better value
The room was an incredible deal for what we paid (about $30 US). The entire hotel is absolutely beautiful as well as the rooms. Rooms where brand new/super clean, front desk spoke close to fluent English. The garden/flora is awesome, as well as the waterfall that flows off the roof at the restaurant. They are currently in construction to turn it into a spa. If you really like golfing is right next to the golf course (not a golfer though).
Bit far from the nightlife, surroundings a bit slow (might change over time). Internet pretty choppy (works then dies) hopefully this gets fixed because we need to upload HD videos of our trip: ~ http://liv.tv ~ and could not do it here. Sometimes pretty loud in the day when they are building (I mean they are renovating so expected.)
Nice small resort ownened by helpful european couple, clean and relaxed atmosphere. Located 5 min walk from the nice, lively town of Thong Sala, and the pier where ferry arrives. Small clean beach, nice view of the harbour, but not the best place to spend a few days if you go to the island for the beaches. To us it was perfect for staying the first two nights while organizing the rest of the trip.
Comfortabel small bungalow with hammock and sea view in a relaxt, quiet setting. Good breakfast. Good location, near Thongsala with good Thai restaurants.
The garden needs more time to have more privacy on your veranda.
Sebastian, his wife and staff made us feel like part of the family. Evrything we needed, we only had to ask. The location is nice and peaceful and doesn't seem like a few minutes from the main village - Thong Sala
Not much, not worth mentioning...
The location was just beautiful - little bungalows with a view on the ocean, sunset. The staff members were very friendly and helped in all the questions we had. The pictures in internet were exactly as in real life, so no disappointment when walking in the room. Breakfast was a bit small, but if you ask, you get as much as you want:) There's also free internet in the room, which is excellent.
In case you are interested in watching TV, then there's no TV in the room. If you want nightlife then the area is a bit far from bars and nightlife places and you have to book a taxi in advance to get to the other side of the island with bars. The hotel reception was closed in the first evening we were going out, so the first impression of the island was that it's abandoned - fortunately we found a taxi who took us to the other side of the island.
